About Euro NCAP
The European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) has been the world's most influential independent vehicle safety testing organization since 1996. Based in Leuven, Belgium, it tests vehicles across 31 European countries using rigorous protocols that many consider the global gold standard.

Scored 84% adult protection and an exceptional 93% pedestrian protection (highest ever at time of test), but received only 4 stars due to lacking AEB. The US MX-5 has no IIHS test at all β making this Euro NCAP data invaluable.
